Mississippi native Allen Payne will celebrate his 60th birthday by raising support, awareness and funds for Grace House Services in Jackson, MS. In July Allen will participate in RAGBRAI, (Annual Great Bicycle Ride across Iowa). RAGBRAI, is the oldest, largest and longest bicycle touring event in the world and this summer’s ride will be the 43rd. The 462.2 mile ride begins in Sioux City on July 19 and ends in Davenport, Iowa on July 25.
Grace House Services is so grateful to be chosen as the recipient of Allen’s 17th bike ride to raise money for organizations that provide support and services to people living with HIV/AIDS. Grace House Services, has provided care and supportive services to thousands of Mississippi men, women and families living with HIV/AIDS since 1995. In addition to housing, Grace House provides ongoing case management, and supportive services such as addiction counseling, HIV classes, life skills training, access to health care, job training, GED courses, and college education.
In celebration of our 20th anniversary, Grace House is challenging all our supporters and friends to match the money Allen raises.
